Laura K. Sayers is an illustrator and paper artist based in Glasgow.
Her work is meticulous and fascinating: it’s also fun, colourful, and bursting with life. Unsurprisingly, it’s gained her fans in all kinds of places.
In early 2024, Sputnik gave Laura a grant towards a week-long residency on the Shetland islands, where she could sketch and research for a children’s book called The Simmer Dim. We caught up with Laura to talk about her art, her faith, and everything in between.
